Text Box: The CHRONICLES of CHRIST
CBC WEEK 1
2011
Come join us for a walk with Jesus as we journey with Him through His life on earth. We will learn more about Jesus and His teachings. The study of His life gives us all a better understanding of how God wants us to live our lives in His world.

As you scroll down the page, you will find additional information about the week as well as some pictures. Carolina Bible Camp is truly a great place to spend the Summer and Week 1 is a great place for our younger campers to experience it again or for the very first time.

We hope that you find this information useful. If you have any questions, please contact us.

Text Box: Bible Classes
Our campers attend 10 classes during the week with 10 different teachers. The teachers prepare a single lesson that they present to each class. The classes are separated by age into equal size classes. Since our teachers teach a single topic, they can prepare extraordinary classes that bring the message to each age group.

The teachers also develop questions for the Bible Bowl at the end of the week.
Text Box: Teams
At the beginning of the week, the campers are separated into 10 teams that are made as randomly as possible, while considering age and gender. This is done on Sunday after evening worship, so stick around to check it out.

The teams are lead by our Team Leaders. These young people dedicate a week of their time to serve God and lead the campers. They have very little rest, but for some reason, they come back year after year.

The teams have several competitions including Bible Bowl, Bible Round Robin, Workbooks, Sports, Banners, Skits, Relays, ……. All of the points for all of these events are tallied at the end of the week and a Grand Champion is crowned.

The team environment teaches the campers team work as well as gives them a great chance to make new friends each year.

Do you want your camper to be on the same team as someone else?…… Sorry, it is random. Our goal is to get as much interaction between the campers as possible.
Text Box: CABIN LIFE
All of our cabins have a staff member assigned to chaperone the cabins. The Young people that lead our teams also act as our Cabin Counselors.

The Cabins have 20 beds, two bathrooms and are air conditioned.

The Counselors have a devotional each night with the campers in their cabins before they go to bed. This is a chance for the campers to ask questions about things that have happened during the day and to start to calm down for a good nights rest.
